Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

Nimbus Synth is a motion-controlled ambient instrument made by Ondre Studios LDA (“we”, “us”). This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data. Short version: almost everything stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to our servers. Nimbus Synth has no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising — there is no backend for your data to go to.

In-app purchases

Nimbus Synth Pro (unlimited Library, unlimited presets, WAV/MIDI export, MIDI Out) is sold as a one-time in-app purchase through Apple's App Store, processed with the help of RevenueCat, our subscription/purchase infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives your purchase and receipt information in order to verify your entitlement — it does not receive your recordings, presets, or any content you create in the app. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for how they handle that data.

Tracking

We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. There is nothing to opt out of.

Children

Nimbus Synth is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since — again — it doesn't collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes (for example, if we add optional cloud backup in the future), we'll update this page and, for any material change, note it in the app's release notes.
